Mr. Muelling has a passion for small communities, and he believes that local projects can have big impacts.     Mr. Muelling is currently a teaching artist and a member of the MusicWorks Collective through Community MusicWorks.     The Kodiak Orchestras are a public school orchestra program in the Kodiak Island Borough School District. It serves secondary students throughout the archipelago, and it is where Mr. Muelling got his start teaching instrumental music through a critical lens. This program is his family.   • Kodiak Arts Council

    The Kodiak Arts Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded in 1963, with a mission to create opportunities for the people of Kodiak to experience and participate in the arts. Mr. Muelling spent many hours volunteering with them, performing with musical groups under their umbrella, and was eventually elected to serve on the executive board on the board of directors.     KMXT 100.1 FM is the public radio station in Kodiak, Alaska. The wonderful folks here work tirelessly to keep Kodiak in touch with the rest of the world.
